Vinyl Wraps
Automotive vinyl wraps are large sheets of adhesive-backed vinyl film that are applied directly over a vehicle’s paint surface. They are used to change the vehicle’s appearance without permanent alteration. The vinyl comes in a wide variety of finishes and colors—including gloss, matte, satin, metallic, carbon fiber and textured effects.
The wrap is carefully installed using heat and pressure to conform to the contours of the vehicle. A skilled install gives the illusion of a painted finish.
Vinyl is roughly 3.5 mils thick and offers minor forms of protection, but is primarily used as a substitute to paint.
